how long please?
can u come and wait with me....
How Long?
How long am I going to keep asking God for help?
How long am I going to wait for my hair to grow?
How long am I going to wish people could see me the way I see myself?
How long am I going to hope that my friends choose to stay?
How long am I going to keep fighting with my mom?
How long am I going to wait until I finally let go of my bad habits?
How long am I going to keep wishing for real love?
How long am I going to wait until I'm financially stable?
How long am I going to wonder if I'll ever become the child my parents hoped I'd be?
How long am I going to ask myself if he's the one... or if I should let him go and meet someone else?
How long am I going to wait to meet the person I'm meant to spend my life with?
How long am I going to wait to live the life I've been imagining for years?
How long am I going to keep searching for who I truly am?
How long will it take before I can love myself without conditions?
How long am I going to wait to build the family I've always dreamed of?
How long will it take before my past finally feels like just a memory?
I ask myself these questions more often than I'd like to admit.
Sometimes I think I know the answers. Sometimes I convince myself they'll happen next month, next year, or in five years.
But maybe that's not the point.
Maybe life was never meant to be a race toward having all the answers.
Because if one day we woke up with everything we'd ever wished for—every prayer answered, every dream fulfilled, every wound healed—what would we spend the rest of our lives waiting for?
Maybe the meaning of life has never been the destination.
Maybe it has always been the waiting.
The becoming.
The struggling.
The healing.
The dreaming.
The hope that tomorrow might be kinder than today.
Maybe that's why we're here.
Not to rush through life searching for the finish line, but to learn how to live while we're still on the journey.
So maybe some questions don't need answers yet.
Maybe they're simply reminders that we're still growing.
Still becoming.
Still believing.
And maybe that's the most beautiful part of being alive.

Whoa. I reckon you're onto something huge here. Most of us treat 'the becoming' like a waiting room, instead of the actual show. Reframing the questions as proof we're still growing rather than proof we're failing? Solid! Fab mindset change. Thanks for writing this!
So often we get so focused on the goal that we forget it's about the journey. It's always about the journey...
